Our shakshuka is purely plant-based of course, made from crushed tomatoes, cannellini beans and chickpeas cooked with onion, garlic, paprika, ground coriander, allspice and sweet paprika, with fresh basil and parsley. And instead of baked eggs, Swiss and button mushrooms and tofu seasoned and baked with cumin, sweet paprika, thyme, fresh oregano and nutritional yeast for a hit of umami goodness.

Instructions

Storage

  • Keep refrigerated between 0 °C and 5 ' C.
  • If there is no use by date, do not consume. If the tray is damaged or the seal is broken, do not consume.

Heating

Heating In A Microwave

  • Remove sleeve.
  • Peel back one corner of film and remove sauce/dressing, if any.
  • Microwave on high for 2.5 - 3.5 mins or until hot. Heating times may vary.
  • Remove film carefully and consume immediately.

Heating On A Stove Top

  • Remove sleeve and film.
  • Empty contents of the tray into a pot.
  • Heat on high until piping hot.
  • Plate up and consume immediately.
